I am a freelance writer and an English PhD candidate at Syracuse University, where I study Shakespeare, celibacy, and asexuality as I transition into public scholarship and student service. Also at Syracuse University, I founded the Asexuali-TEA ace meetup group at the LGBT Resource Center, and I have served on the Graduate Diversity and Employee Committees, the Sexual and Relationship Violence Task Force, the English Undergraduate Committee, the Graduate Student Organization, and the English Graduate Organization. And yes — yes, I am a Jeopardy! contestant. Catch me on TV on March 12, 2018.
My pronouns are she/her/hers. I support the Upstate New York chapter of the House Rabbit Society, which works to give everybunny “a loving, indoor home.” In my free time, I’m often found bicycling by the lake and listening to Mashrou’ Leila or Hamilton. I enjoy traveling to Montréal and hope to someday make California my home.
